I can post the testdisk logs if it would be helpful in any way. Im really stuck and depressed as I lost almost a year of work and application development. There comes my question - is there any way to fix the bootcamp filesystem from the OS X, or successfully run the chkdsk on the bootcamp partition to fix bad sectors and filesystem. So I assume that the bootcamp filesystem got messed up pretty badly.
#XSTAND OPINIONS FORUMS SOFTWARE#
Tried to fix it somehow from the OS X stand point, tried some commercial recovery software, as I really need to recover important dev flutter repositories(which I didn't back up as well - dumb me - I really hate myself right now), I don't really care about the whole windows installation.īut through the software (tried disk drill and imyfone any recover) I only achieved half-success as the repositories got recovered only partly, much files didn't recover. I tried everything from this point, the chkdsk x: /f /r /x from the cmd shows that it cannot run on this drive as it is write protected, I don't have any image to be restored as well, so its a dead end. After trying to resize the bootcamp partition, the filesystem of windows got damaged, the bootcamp partition is visible from the boot menu, but it doesn't boot correctly, instead I am getting the message that Windows could not boot and automatic system repair could not do anything, I am getting the blue troubleshoot screen Would this setup be better then always on lighting for a beginner? im more interested in a setup for macro and stills, but of course will prob do portraiture later.
